This is a copy of a Charles Limbert table I made from
solid lyptus and finished with satin polyurethane. |
|
This is a Craftsman style accent lamp made from
solid
mahogany.
|
|
A box spindle chair and footstool. This is a Frank
Loyd
Wright design that I copied. It is made out of solid mahogany.
|
|
A clock made from quarter sawn oak and copper.
|
|
A Craftsman style coffee table of my own design
made from
lyptus and ash (white accents) with
removable inlaid tiles.

This is an entertainment center which holds our TV
and
stereo. It is made from solid mahogany and has shelves that slide in
and
out. I designed this piece to match the Craftsman styling of
the
other pieces of furniture I have designed and built. This came out
really good. The finish just glows.

|
A Craftsman style end table before it was
finished. It too
is made from mahogany.

|
This is a fabric hanger I made for Heather. It has
more of a
Chinese design than a Craftsman design. It is made of black walnut and
mahogany. Although hard to see, it has a front and back. The back
mounts to the wall and the front has pins that allow it to be separated
from the back for exchanging the cloth being hung.

|
A Craftsman style floor lamp made from quarter
sawn oak.
This is my own design.
|
|
A Craftsman style Morris chair made from solid
mahogany.
Back is adjustable by moving pins that support it. This is the most
comfortable chair I have made yet.
|
|
A foldable screen of Craftsman design. It is made
of quarter
sawn white oak. I made the screen and Heather made the fabric covers.
|
|
A Craftsman style settle or couch of my own
design. It is
made out of lyptus wood with fabric that matches many of the other
pieces I have built.
|
|
This is a shelf that I designed and built shown
here
supporting a cast iron decoration with floral motif. It consists of
three woods: ash, walnut and padauk. The length and width of each piece
of wood are defined by the golden mean (1.618) for a pleasing effect.
No I didn't mount the
shelf at a funny angle. I just took the picture this way to capture the
most detail.

|
Speaker stands of my own design. They hold the
rear speaks
in our surround sound system. These are made from mahogany.

Here
is a picture of a lot
of the pieces of furniture together in our basement. Looks nice doesn't
it.
