Hell In A
Handbasket CD
Well it's the middle of 2014 and
time for a new CD. This CD is a little different from previous CDs in
that I had the help of some friends in its recording. STX (Paul
Douglass) plays drums and other misc percussion on every tune on this
CD. Chris Redd played lead guitar on Who Loves the Sun and Secret Agent
Man and Judith Steed (Chris' wife) sang backing vocals on Hero. Thanks
to you all for your assistance! All other parts: bass guitar, rhythm
guitar, lead guitar, piano, synthesizers, strings, percussion and all
vocals I did.
This CD was
again recorded in my basement recording studio. As is the case of
a music
production company of one, besides being the major artist I also had to
be
the recording,
mix down and mastering engineers. STX helped with some graphic design
and CD reproduction. No one other than myself is responsible for any
issues with this CD.
If you are curious about where the title to this CD came from, listen
to the song Trouble.
I want to
make it
perfectly clear, I record these songs with total
respect for the artists that wrote and performed them originally. I
never have and never will try to make money on any of these recordings.
This
CD cannot be sold
for any reason because I don't own the rights to any of these
songs. I record these songs for myself, my family and my friends only,
never
to make money.
Songs
on this CD
Here are the songs on the CD. For the best and most accurate listening
experience you should listen to these tunes
with headphones (ideally Sony MDR-7506 to hear exactly what I did when
I mixed these tunes), after the
consumption of a couple of beers or glasses of wine.
