Here are some of my woven scarves.

"Interwoven Woven", rayon chenille.

Pattern accomplished by color orders in warp and weft.

4 block deflected double weave using hand spun and commercial yarns of  silk, rayon, merino wool and alpaca.
PlRibWv.JPG Finished silk and cotton scarves with painted warps on the empty loom. Plaited rib weave on 16 shafts.
shibori.jpg Scarf from a shibori on the loom workshop with Estelle Carlsen. Rayon. Resist dyed, redyed with more resist and discharged. Lots of layers of effects.

A challenge piece experimenting with differential shrinkage. 4 block deflected double weave using hand spun and commercial yarns of  silk, rayon, hemp and alpaca.

2 block twill damask.
Various1.jpg 3 scarves: discharged cotton with wool weft in plaited twill, discharged cotton and cotton weft twill damask, and rayon & silk stripes with a cord weave.
Various2.jpg 4 scarves in fine threads (includes a 13 thread float) in a color effect twill pattern obtained from a Norwegian book for the Complex Weavers Fine Threads study group.
Whipcord.jpg Scarf with ikat (resist dyed) warp and cord weave stripes with a hint of metallic.
